The city of Ham Lake, Minnesota is a northern suburb located slightly northeast of Minneapolis. Encompassing an area of nearly 36 square miles, Ham Lake is one of the larger cities in Anoka County (based on land area). Home to just under 16,000 residents, Ham Lake is an active community that has a semi-rural feel. These routes, in turn, connect to the majority of the Twin Cities metro, ensuring that residents have access to the amenities of the big city. In many ways, residents get the best of both worlds.
