Often regarded as one of the premier Minnesota cities in which to call home, Edina is a suburban paradise. The city of Edina, Minnesota is located within Hennepin County and is a first-ring suburb of Minneapolis. It is less than 10 miles south of the downtown area, providing easy access for commuters. The major Highways are Interstate 494, U.S. Highway 169, and State Highways 62 and 100. Proximity to these highways gives residents convenient and quick access to the majority of the Twin Cities metro area. The city has a total area of almost 16 square miles, almost all of which is fully developed. Most of the neighborhoods are upscale and residential in nature, while several offer office space and other commercial developments.
