St. Louis Park: Crestview Neighborhood

The neighborhood community of Crestview is located in the northwest corner of St. Louis Park in Ward 4. The community is bordered by West 16th Street to the north, West 22nd Street to the south, Flag Avenue to the east, and highway 169 to the west. The community of Crestview is one of the smallest neighborhoods in St. Louis Park covering a total area of 63.9 acres. Crestview offers nearly 100 single-family homes within the neighborhood with an average year built of 1957. Crestview is a small close-knit neighborhood promoting the importance of a strong community.

Although Crestview is one of the smallest neighborhoods in St. Louis Park, residents still have easy access to plenty of amenities within nearby communities. Residents of Crestview have access to The Shops at West End and The Shops at Knollwood offering numerous shopping, dining, and entertainment options. The Shops at West End are only 10 minutes from Crestview offering numerous upscale shopping and dining options. West End is home to a wide variety of Shops and Restaurants, from locally owned to nationally known, West End has it all. Other amenities within the area include Costco, Home Depot, Lifetime Fitness, and Olive Garden.

Although the Crestview neighborhood does not have any parks within the neighborhood, residents are within walking distance of Westwood Hills Nature Center. Westwood Hills is a 160-acre natural park offering numerous outdoor activities. Westwood Hills is a natural area featuring marsh, woods, and restored prairies and is home to several animals including deer, fox, mink, and owls. Westwood HIlls offers numerous walking trails for residents to enjoy the beauty of this natural area.

Residents of Crestview also have access to the Minneapolis Golf Club. Minneapolis Golf Club is a beautifully maintained 18-hole course offering a difficult challenge while still offering plenty of fun. MGC offers a perfect blend of a modern course and a classic course. Minneapolis Golf Club has an excellent reputation as one of the premier private golf clubs in Minnesota and has a rich historical past. MGC was designed by legendary golf course architect Willie Park in 1916. Minneapolis Golf Club has hosted numerous golf legends including Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player.
