White Bear Lake Area School District is located within Ramsey County and serves the students of White Bear Lake as well as the surrounding areas. The mission statement of White Bear Lake Area School District is to educate all students in a supportive and challenging environment to become empowered and responsible citizens. The City of White Bear Lake is in independent school district 624, which serves 8,900 students and offers a variety of educational options.

Lincoln Elementary School is one of 9 elementary schools within the district. Kindergarten through 5th graders are served through academic as well as extracurricular activities. The philosophy of the school is to provide an enriched learning environment with an emphasis on respect, readiness, and responsibility through the cooperation of parents, staff, and students. Students enjoy a variety of events. Hug-A-Heart-Club is a new opportunity that teaches children to serve others. This club for Kindergarten through 5th graders seeks to give to the community through various service projects. Throughout the year, Lincoln Elementary Students receive opportunities in different subjects through the Carlson Art and Science Fair and the Junior Achievement Inc. Lincoln Elementary School serves Kindergarten through 5th graders of White Bear Lake with academic and extracurricular activities to equip students to be respectful, ready, and responsible.

Magnuson Christian School located in White Bear Lake is a private school that serves students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The mission of the school is, “We are a Christ-centered, academically excellent educational community that develops the whole child – heart, soul, mind, and body”. Magnuson Christian School offers excellent educational opportunities, a loving, family-like community, caring and dedicated staff, affordable tuition, and much more. In addition to academics, the school offers a variety of extracurricular activities. Students enjoy opportunities including band, choir, Chess Club, Running Club, Spanish Club, Chinese Club, Mad Science, Robotics Club, and Drama Club. Every year 1st through 8th graders take the Iowa Test of Basic Skills, and Magnuson students score above the national average. With strong academics and many extracurricular activities, Magnuson Christian School has much to offer.

White Bear Area High School is one high school with two campuses serving White Bear Lake students and the surrounding cities. White Bear Lake Area High School – North Campus is home to grades 9-10, and the South Campus of WBLAHS is home to grades 11-12. In total, White Bear Lake Area High School serves 2,500 students. Over 30 college-level class options are offered for students of WBLAHS. Opportunities including sports, theater, debate, speech, much more are available for high schoolers. White Bear Area High School challenges students to strive for excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities, which enables high schoolers to become empowered and responsible citizens.

White Bear Lake is home to Century College, which is a two-year community college. In Minnesota, Century College is the largest two-year community and technical college. Founded in 1967, today Century College serves 11,000 students. Programs include advertising and marketing, business and management, art and design, nursing, technology, liberal arts, and law enforcement. With the motto Your Bridge to Success, academics are at the center of Century College.  The Century Wood Ducks are home to baseball, softball, and soccer teams for men and women. Students enjoy a variety of clubs and extracurricular activities outside of classes. At Century College, a variety of career and transfer degrees and diplomas are available for the workplace or transferring to 4-year universities.
