With a population of 1,300 residents, Pamela Park is situated in the Northeast quadrant of Edina.  It is bordered on the north by Philbrook Lane, on the east by France Avenue, on the south by Highway 62 as well as Valley View Road, and on the west by Wooddale Avenue. The City of Edina, in cooperation with area residents concerned about the quality of Lake Pamela, and the MCWD have taken steps to reestablish Lake Pamela. The homes in the Pamela Park neighborhood were built mainly during the 1950’s.

The popular Snuffy’s Malt Shop, located along the east edge of the neighborhood endures as one of the famous Minnesota institutions because of their ability to provide families with quality hamburgers, fries, malts and so much more for an affordable price. They won the “Best Malts” and “Best Burgers” in 2006 by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine, and they continue to be a featured dining location in the area.

The Pamela Park neighborhood is home to one major park which shares its name:

Pamela Park: The crucial characteristic in the neighborhood is the extensive 64 acre Pamela Park. With its soccer fields, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, warming house and ice rinks, playground, wooded area and wetlands, the park is ideal for all ages and interests. The wetlands are a member of the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District and are protected by the DNR. Ideal for an active day at the park or a peaceful picnic, Pamela Park is a great destination for the neighborhood and city.
