The city of St. Francis, Minnesota is located 40 miles north of the Twin Cities on the northern edge of Anoka County. St. Francis is a rural community offering a unique combination of a small town feel and a big city with a population over 7,000. The city of Saint Francis is home to several events and amenities that all residents can enjoy. One of the most popular events in St. Francis is Pioneer Days. Pioneer Days is an annual event held on one weekend every July at Community Park. Pioneer Days feature a parade, photo contest, carnival rides, vendors, softball tournament, 5k walk/run, kids walk for fun, bed race, live music, fireworks, medallion hunt, and much more. Pioneer Days is great opportunity for residents to get to know each other, grow closer as a community, and celebrate the history of Saint Francis.

Although St. Francis does not have an abundance of events and amenities, it’s convenient location allows residents to enjoy plenty of entertainment in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and other northern suburbs. With it’s rural setting, convenient location, and big town feel, St. Francis has much to offer.
