City of Randolph: Community Life

The city of Randolph, Minnesota is located 31 miles south of St. Paul in Dakota County. Randolph is a small town community where residents can enjoy the peaceful setting of this rural community. Although Randolph is a small town, it’s close proximity to Northfield and several south metro suburbs allow residents to enjoy numerous amenities without having to drive very far.

One of the most popular events in the city is the Randolph Railroad Days. Railroad Days is an event in which numerous model trains are on display. It’s held at Randolph High School and the Randolph Museum. The event features numerous running and model trains, a PR engine, a fully restored caboose, and much more.

Although the city itself does not have an abundance of events and amenities, Randolph’s close proximity to Northfield, Farmington, and several other cities allows residents to enjoy all the south metro area has to offer.
