New Germany, Minnesota is a quaint, charming town in Carver County. The name for this peaceful town was due to the number of early settlers that were of German descent. The city has a population of 400 residents, and a geographical area of one-square mile.

This small town offers the private living that its locals enjoy. However, if there is a longing for other entertainment, shopping, or the big city environment, Minneapolis is just one hour east. Other, larger suburbs, such as Chaska and Chanhassen, are just half an hour away. County Roads 30 and 33 are the main routes through the city, which provide easy and quick access to larger highways.
