Additionally, attached to the Community Center is the Cologne Express Library. Belonging to the Carver library system, the express library enables visitors to check out books online and pick them up at the express library depository. Books can be dropped off in the same location. While no books are physically stored on site, this method is very efficient and is offered freely to Carver County library members.

Cologne features a number of local businesses within the city.
