The school also offers AVID, Advancement Via Individual Determination, to all students in  8th and 9th grade. AVID is a college readiness program that helps students prepare for and succeed in college. AVID is designed to help increase schoolwide learning and performance. Oak-Land also offers several athletics, activities, and clubs to all students. Many of the sports that students can enjoy are baseball, basketball, cross-country, football, softball, and many more. Stillwater Area High School serves over 2,000 students in 10th through 12th grade. Stillwater High School is one of the oldest High Schools in Minnesota and was built to provide students with a personal education. The school has a 6 period day with a 2 semester year. Stillwater looks to prepare students for college and work after school by providing a rigorous academic program. The school offers Advanced Placement courses in English, French, Spanish, Art History, U.S. History, American Government, Psychology, Biology, Calculus, Statistics, and Chemistry.
