Neighborhood 1 is one of 12 neighborhoods within The Jonathan Association located on the west side of Chaska a mile north of highway 212. The Jonathan Association is a community of neighborhoods within the City of Chaska spreading across 2,200 acres with 24,000 residents. The Jonathan Association offers excellent housing, great residents, and unique trail system connecting the community.

Neighborhood 1 consists of 58 single family homes and 8 townhomes featuring a-frame, contemporary, and split level housing styles. Single family homes in the area range from $170,000 to $300,000 while townhomes start around $130,000. The majority of homes within the neighborhood were built in the 1960’s and 1970’s within a beautiful wooded environment. Neighborhood 1 is an excellent community with much to offer.

Neighborhood 1 is located within close proximity to numerous recreational, shopping, and dining amenities that all residents can take advantage of. The neighborhood boasts easy access to Chaska Town Course, the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Chaska Community Park, Chaska Commons Shopping Center, and Two Twelve Medical Center. One unique feature within The Jonathan Association is the Jonathan Trails System. The Jonathan Trails System is a network of paved trails throughout the neighborhood community offering a wide variety of recreational activities including biking, running, and walking.

Residents within neighborhood 1 are served by Independent School District 112 also known as Eastern Carver County Schools. Neighborhood 1 boasts easy access to numerous Schools including Jonathan Elementary School, Clover Ridge Elementary School, Chaska Middle School West, Chaska High School, and Southwest Christian High School. Jonathan Elementary School is located a half mile north of Neighborhood 1 offering a personalized learning experience designed to help each student succeed. Jonathan serves 590 students in K-5th grade with a student teacher ratio of 16.4.
