Vadnais Heights is a part of the White Bear Lake Area Schools, also known as the independent school district 624. The White Bear Lake Area School District serves all or portions of the cities of Birchwood, Gem Lake, Hugo, Lino Lakes, Little Canada, Maplewood, North Oaks, Vadnais Heights, White Bear Lake and White Bear Township This district contains four Early Childhood program locations, nine elementary schools, two middle schools, a high school with two campus locations, an Area Learning Center and a Transition Education Center.

Of the nine elementary schools in the White Bear Lake District, the most local to the Vadnais Heights community is Vadnais Heights Elementary. Vadnais Heights Elementary offers a rich environment of a small neighborhood school with a large community focus and a passion for students and learning. This school also boasts crucial partnerships, such as Tamarack Nature Center that allows the students to experience an “outdoor classroom”. This elementary school has been around for over sixty-five years, and has been through major remodeling. Today, it is a vibrant centerpiece for the young children in Vadnais Heights.
Sunrise Park Middle School enrolls nearly 800 students in grades 6-8. Students gain a full curriculum that offers world language options at each grade level, General Music, Band and Choir as well as Project Lead the Way courses. The schools employs over 75 licensed and support staff. Sunrise Park Middle School is also in the middle of being an International Baccalaureate Candidate School.
White Bear Lake High School is one high school, with two campuses, the North Campus and the South Campus. The campus nearest to Vadnais Heights is the South Campus. The total enrollment between both campuses is about 2,500 students. Through academics, college preparation, athletics, clubs, music, and much more, White Bear High School’s goal is to serve students, and help them find their passion.
