The Autumn Terrace neighborhood is located near the northwestern corner of Eden Prairie on the western edge of The Edenbrook Conservation Area. Like many of the neighborhood in the area, Autumn Terrace is populated with many mature trees. The warm and welcoming community contains approximately 120 single family homes ranging from $330,000 to $500,000. Homes in Autumn Terrace are primarily rambler and split level style houses.
A wide variety of recreational activities can be enjoyed at the many parks located near Autumn Terrace. One of the closest parks to the neighborhood is Wyndham Knoll. The smaller park has tennis courts, playground equipment, and lighted baseball field for recreational use.
A larger park in the area is The Edenbrook Conservation Area. Edenbrook contains beautiful scenery with an extensive walking trail system for residents to enjoy. Other parks in the area include Purgatory Park to the north and Rice Marsh Lake Park to the south. The Autumn Knoll neighborhood also offers easy access to Prairie Village Mall, located southeast, offering some of the best shopping, dining, and grocery amenities in the area.
Residents of the neighborhood are served by Independent School District 272 also known as Eden Prairie Public Schools. Eden Prairie Schools seeks to provide students with a rigorous academic program while fostering a lifelong desire to learn. One of the closest schools to the Autumn Terrace neighborhood is Eden View Elementary School, which has a total of 650 students in grades K-6. Eden View focuses on meeting each student’s specific needs with a warm environment and unique academic opportunities. The school has a 15.1 student/teacher ratio, which helps to make sure that every student’s needs are met. Other nearby schools include Oak Point Elementary School, Central Middle School, Eden Prairie High School, and Hennepin Technical College.
