As the site of many different sporting games, the Lions Valley Place Park is a central community location. North Lions Park: The North Lions Park is another park in Crystal that was sponsored by the local Lions Club. At 12 acres, the park offers great amenities with a smaller, quieter atmosphere than Crystal’s other community parks. The North Lions Park includes basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, a playground, a baseball field, a picnic shelter, outdoor grills, and paved trails. In addition, the park has a sledding hill in the wintertime.
Hagemeister Pond Preserve: A small, 7-acre park that services the local neighborhood as well as the city as a whole, Hagemeister offers a nice walking trail around the pond as well as a beautiful overlook and gazebo to enjoy the nature and birds that find rest and relaxation in the pond. There are also several wood sculptures of birds situated throughout the park.
