Cahill is located in the Southwest quadrant of the city of Edina. It is bordered on the north by 70th Street, on the east by Highway 100, on the south by Interstate 494, and on the west by Cahill Road. Predominantly commercial, the neighborhood derived its name from Edina’s historical Cahill School, initially located on the Southeast corner of the area.
Cahill contains a large industrial park, with nearby retail corridors positioned nearby at 77th & Industrial Blvd, and also a multi-family residential strip on the west side. This residential strip travels along Lewis Ridge Park and borders on both the Dewey Hill Neighborhood and the Prospect Knolls Neighborhood.
