Located along the southern edge of Dakota County, Randolph, Minnesota, is a city of roughly 450 residents. Taking its name from Randolph Township, the city was established in the early 1860’s. State Highway 56 serves as a main road through the community. U.S. Highway 52 and State Highway 19 are both near Randolph along with larger suburbs in the County. Minneapolis and St. Paul are about 45-50 minutes north, as residents can make the drive to enjoy the big city amenities.
Randolph is situated completely within Randolph Township geographically, but is a separate entity itself. The city has a total area of 1.03 square miles; of which 0.07 square miles is water.
