Civic Center Park: Civic Center Park is one of New Hope’s largest and most cherished parks. Located next to the New Hope Police Department and the West Metro Fire & Rescue, this safe park features several fabulous amenities. One of the most popular is the Honsey Outdoor Pool. This community pool features lap swimming, a diving area, a kiddie pool and much more. Civic Center Park is also home to New Hope’s outdoor theatre. The outdoor theatre is used for community theatrical productions as well as summer concerts. Also included within the park are basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, soccer and baseball fields, a dog park, outdoor grilling and picnic areas, a playground, and a skate park. In the winter time the dog park is converted into a hockey/ice skating rink and the park also has a sledding hill. With so many amenities nestled in the middle of the New Hope Civic Center, this park is perfect for families of all ages.
Sunnyside Park: While it is small, Sunnyside Park’s ideal location directly behind a local neighborhood make it a wonderful place to enjoy the day. the park is home to a playground, a baseball field, and a basketball court. Additionally, there are a few acres of open space to make use of other physical activities.
Lions Park: Lions Park: Established by the Golden Valley Lions Club, Lions Park is a staple of the community. Featuring lighted walking trails, a new playground, outdoor grills, basketball and tennis courts, softball and soccer fields, as well as skating rinks and a warming house in the winter, Lions Park is bursting with activity. The overall quality of the 20-acre park and it’s continual upkeep make it one of the most popular family destinations.
