It is bordered on the north by Excelsior Boulevard, on the east by Blake Road, on the south by Waterman Avenue, and on the west by Highway 169. The neighborhood is a section of Edina that has former U.S. Presidents as names of its Avenues, such as Adams, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, and Jackson. This section of Edina has a unique feel from other neighborhoods like Parkwood Knolls and Interlachen Park, with their estate-like homes. The neighborhood is within the limits of the Hopkins School District. This has been a foundation for controversy, with many of the residents wanting to be in the school district of their own city.
