With a population of 1,700 residents, Bredesen Park is situated in the Northwest quadrant of the city of Edina. It is bordered on the north by Walnut Ridge Park, on the east by the eastern edge of Bredesen Park, on the south by Highway 212, and on the west by Highway 100. Bredesen Park has its own Mud Lake, copious paths, along with single family and multi-family residential homes and commercial corridors.
Bredesen Park is somewhat bordered by the meandering Olinger Blvd, which has bike lanes and connects with the Nine Mile Creek. The Bredesen Park neighborhood boasts the second longest bicycle and pedestrian trails in Edina. The majority of the neighborhood was established in the late 1960’s and 70’s.
