The Clarion Hills neighborhood lies in southeast Minnetonka just northwest of the intersection of County Road 61 and Highway 62. The neighborhood consists of around 50 single family homes and 13 duplexes. The majority of homes are ramblers craftsman style homes ranging from $300,000 to $900,000.

The Hopkins School District serves seven different western suburbs of Minneapolis and approximately 8,000 students in grades K-12. The closest school to the neighborhood is Eagle Ridge Academy which serves students in grades K-12. Eagle Ridge is a public charter school that offers rigorous courses and time-tested classical, liberal arts curriculum. Other nearby schools include Lionsgate Academy, International School, Glen Lake Elementary, and Gatewood Elementary School.
