St. Anthony, Minnesota is still known today as St. Anthony Village. The name stuck with the city even after it was incorporated. The city is a member of two different counties, Ramsey and Hennepin, with the later being the main one with about two-thirds of its population living there. The total population is close to 8,500 residents, and the city has a land area of about 2.25 square miles of land.
