The Valley neighborhood is located in southeast Minnetonka near the intersection of Excelsior Boulevard and Baker Road. This larger neighborhood is known for its mature trees, spacious lots, and mixture of ranch and rambler style homes. There are just over 200 single family homes in the Valley neighborhood with house prices ranging from $200,000 to $600,000.

The Valley neighborhood has an ideal location within the City of Minnetonka. Several of the city’s amenities are within easy driving distance to the community, such as Bryant Lake, Shady Oak Beach, Glen Lake Golf Course, and several shopping and dining destinations. Shady Oak Beach, the closest park to Valley, features 85-acres of land and 76’ of beach shoreline. Amenities at Shady Oak Park include a playground, lifeguards, high dive, and concessions. Some of the closest restaurants to the neighborhood include Dragon Jade, Gold Nugget Tavern & Grille, and Gina Maria’s Pizza. Also located near by is the medical center and Lifetime Fitness. The neighborhood is also within easy driving distance of Interstate 494 for a faster work commute and access to other nearby cities.

Residents of Valley are served by the Hopkins School District. The Hopkins School District serves seven different western suburbs of Minneapolis and approximately 8,000 students in grades K-12. Glen Lake Elementary is the closest school to Valley, located just a couple miles west over 494. The school has around 470 students and a student/teacher ratio of 15, serving students in grades K-6. Other nearby schools include Lionsgate Academy, International School, Eagle Ridge Academy, and Gatewood Elementary School.
