The Minnehaha neighborhood is found in south Minneapolis and within the Nokomis community. Minnehaha, as well as its neighbor, Hiawatha, derived its name from an Ojibwe phrase cited in Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s poem, The Song of Hiawatha.
