The main route through the city is State Highway 12, which connects to both Interstate 394 and Interstate 494. These highways lead to Minneapolis and the surrounding suburbs.

There are also a wide variety of recreational options, from lake activities, bike rides on the 25-mile long Dakota Trail, and walks in the city’s beautiful parks.
