The city of Spring Lake Park covers a total area of 2.07 square miles and is home to 6 parks. Spring Lake Park offers numerous recreational activities in its several neighborhood and community parks.

Lakeside Lions Park: A 12-acree park situated on the north shore of Spring Lake. Lakeside Park is run by both Spring Lake Park and Mounds View and offers residents several opportunities to enjoy recreational activities. Lakeside Park features picnic shelters, grills, fishing pier, playground equipment, sand volleyball, softball field, and walking trails.

Able Park: A 6 acre park that offers year round access and recreational activities to residents of all ages. Able Park features a basketball court, 2 sand volleyball courts, picnic shelter, softball fields, hockey rink, warming house, and playground equipment. The park also features a sitting area with flowers where residents can enjoy the outdoors.

Terrace Park: A 10 acre park with an abundance of athletic opportunities. Terrace Park features a sport court with 2 tennis courts, basketball court, and skate park. Other amenities include sand volleyball, softball fields, athletic fields, picnic shelters, playground equipment, hosckey rinks and park building.
