The city of Ramsey, Minnesota is located 26 miles north of Minneapolis in Anoka County. Ramsey is a big city with a population of nearly 25,000 situated on the outskirts of the Twin Cities. The city of Ramsey is a beautiful scenic city situated between the Mississippi and Rum Rivers with numerous golf courses, regional parks, community parks, and walking trails. Another popular event in Ramsey is Happy Days. Happy Days is annual hometown festival celebrating the city of Ramsey. Happy Days is held in early September in the downtown area near the Municipal Center. This event offers numerous family-friendly events including a pancake breakfast, 5k run and youth fun run, family bike tour, play zone, food vendors, car show, parade, chili cook off, bingo, live music, and fireworks.

One popular amenity within Ramsey is the Ramsey Game Fair. The Game Fair is an outdoor sporting event held on a beautiful 80 acre piece of land with woods and water. The Game Fair helps residents celebrate the great outdoors. The Game Fair is place where residents can go to see, try,and buy the latest hunting equipment and learn from expert sportsmen and women. The Game Fair features numerous exhibits including archery, decoys, boats, art, dogs, dog accessories, taxidermy, and hunting equipment.
