City of Arden Hills: Parks & Trails

Arden Hills, Minnesota is home to 14 city parks, all of which are home to great amenities. The city of Arden Hills is also home to many Ramsey County county and regional parks. A few of the Arden Hills Parks include:

Tony Schmidt Regional Park:  The Tony Schmidt Regional Park is located on Lake Johanna in Arden Hills. It houses a rentable Pavilion with a kitchen, an open-air shelter with a grill, and many more amenities. Some of these include a life guarded beach, a boat launch and fishing pier, playgrounds for children, walking paths throughout the park, and parking for over 130 cars.

Cummings Park:  Cummings Park is a 17.5-acre city park on the south side of Karth Lake. During the summer months many relax by walking around the many trails or get active by using the basketball court, baseball/softball field, or soccer field. When the temperature drops in the winter relax in the warming house and enjoy the skating rink.

Floral Park:  Floral Park is a 20-acre city park off of Floral Drive. Floral Park is home to all the key sports amenities. It houses baseball/softball fields, a soccer field, a tennis court, and a basketball court. Floral Park can provide you with a place to practice your shot, your swing, or your sliding. The park is also home to a playground for kids. And with such a big park, the trails are such a great way to explore and stay active.

Hazelnut Park:  Hazelnut Park is a 12-acre city park located off of New Brighton Road. Although it’s smaller than some, this park has it all. It has all the sports facilities:  basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, and tennis. It has everything you need to get the extra sports practice in. It has a playground for the kids, and even trails to walk for anyone of any age. And when it snows and the seasons change, head to the hockey rink for a pick of game, or hit up the skating rink for some fun leisure.

Perry Park:  Perry Park is a large 20-acre city park located off of New Brighton Road. In the winter you can enjoy the hockey rink and warming house. It even has permanent restrooms for convenience. When the temperatures warm up, get a jump on the baseball, softball, and tennis competition and practice on the baseball/softball field, as well as the tennis court. During the summer, if the kids are bored, take them to the playground. Perry Park has a little bit for everyone.
