The majority of Oak Grove, Minnesota is served by Independent School District (ISD) 15. St. Francis Schools serve students in grades K-12 from the communities of Athens Township, Andover, East Bethel, Bethel, Linwood Township, Nowthen, Oak Grove, St. Francis, and Stanford Township. ISD 15 seeks to: equip all students with the knowledge and skills to empower them to achieve their dreams and full potential while becoming responsible citizens in a dynamic world.

Cedar Creek Community School is one of three elementary schools in the district. The school serves around 780 students in grades K-5. Cedar Creek boasts of student/teacher ratio of 16, which is the lowest of all elementary schools in the St. Francis School District. The school also employs nearly 50 full-time teachers.

St. Francis Middle School (SFMS) is home to about 1,280 students in grades 6-8. Each of the 60 dedicated staff members seeks to support every student in achieving their goals. At SFMS, the Accelerated Reader program is used. Accelerated Reader provides computerized comprehensive quizzes for books students read, which helps them better understand what they are reading. More than 145,000 books are available to students as well as reading practice, vocabulary practice, literacy skills, and recorded voice quizzes. Accelerated Reader is one of many programs that provide exceptional academics opportunities to students. St. Francis Middle School also offers many athletics and activities, including wrestling, track and field, strength and conditioning, knowledge bowl, jazz band, and many more.

St. Francis High School (SFHS) serves 1,626 students in grades 9-12 in Independent School District 15. SFHS looks to provide a rigorous academic program designed to meet the needs of each student and prepare them for life after high school. St. Francis High School is home to outstanding teachers who help each student reach their full potential and foster a collaborative learning environment. The school supports 13 different academic departments, including art, FACS, business, counseling, industrial technology, language arts, music, math, science, social studies, special education, physical education, and world languages. In addition to academics, SFHS offers numerous athletic programs including football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, hockey, cross country, tennis, baseball, softball, track, golf, wrestling, and several more.
